Nothing new to report on LST.  *sigh*  I've paralyzed myself into some major writers' block at the moment.  The story is not on hiatus.  Believe me, I'm certainly *trying* to write stuff.  Time is certainly being dedicated to this story.  I ran out of steam, I guess.  LST is just.  So.  Long.  Add onto the fact that I managed to get myself very self-conscious about everyone's expectations for this part and, well...  SLAM.  Wall.  Ouch.  I'll try to keep y'all amused with my PD entertainment cache while my wheels are spinning.

I will get this part done, guys.  Thank you all for being so understanding.  I don't know what else to tell you at this point :(

That being said, I got 4 pages on the next chapter of LST done.  Derek is awake!  Meredith is awake!  They might exchange presents soon after the kiddies stop jumping on them :)

So, yesterday I was feeling rather narcissistic and sort of pretentious, and on top of that, I really had a hankering to play around with making a fanfic trailer, which I hadn't really done since I wrote stories for Lois and Clark in 2004.  What's a fanfic trailer, you might ask?  Well, it's like a movie trailer, except it's made for a fanfic.  Obviously, there's no super special deep-voiced announcer, but even using silent subtitles, I've seen some pretty crazy good ones over the years.  I used to make quite a few of these things for Lois and Clark fanfics.  It's always a challenge trying to emulate what's going on in the story using clips from the show.  Taking a look or a smile or a scene out of context and editing it to mean what you want...  Let me tell you...  Lightning Strikes Twice?  Really.  Hard.  To show.  Using Grey's clips.  I had to cheat just a little itsy bitsy bit for the car crash (which still looks kind of hacked together... PD does not crash in cars in his movies!), and the New York cityscape, but everything else is from Grey's, and overall, I'm really pleased with the result.  No Stewart cameo, unfortunately.  Or really any family.  But I think I managed to capture the essence of the story all the same.

In other news, I've been working on part 49.  I've gotten a little bit done.  4k words.  We'll see how much I can get done today/tonight.  I'm hoping to have a finished part for SSBR to edit on Monday night before I leave for Houston and he's off to somewhere not here, but I'm not sure how well my plans will unfold.  We'll see :)

Well, I finally got around to making clips of Escape, which, for those of you who don't know, is probably one of the more skin-bearing movies PD has been in. The plot is sort of woefully bad, but... Skin-bearing PD. So. Yeah. Sorry some of the shots are blurry. This is a conversion from VHS, so motion shots are a little fuzzy. Beware young eyes -- it's porny! As an aside, though, PD's hair is sort of a 90s grunge travesty in this. And I think the goal of this movie was to have him wet from rain and/or naked in every scene. Not that that's a bad thing. More wet and/or naked PD I say.

Countdown to the finale!!!

Well, I'm ready to be pissed off.  I've armed myself with Ben and Jerry's.  But here's hoping!

In order to stay in my lovely comfort zone of supreme denial (LCZSD!  sounds like a drug)... I took many screenshots of PD from my copy of Bank Robber.  In wife beaters, in a suit, shirtless, in a towel, driving a car w/ sunglasses, in the shower, naked, crying... It's a buffet of PD goodness.  Sorry some of them were blurry, they are taken from a digital copy of my VHS tape.  Hope you enjoy.  Beware, young eyes.  Some of it is pretty porny.  And be gentle, the server can only take so much ;p
