I thought Addison coming back was going to be a trainwreck, but really?

Nope!  I really enjoyed having her back.

I don't know what it was.  I can't identify any specific moment, but this episode totally clicked with me.  I loved it.  Loved it.  I think they are setting the right pace and tone with MerDer.  Meredith is seeing Derek *isn't* perfect.   Derek is admitting that Meredith makes him need to feel perfect.  Meredith is talking with her therapist.  Talking!  Derek and Meredith are starting to see each other as professionals and not just the person he/she is having sex with.  Derek can only say that Rose is lovely, and he looks entirely dismayed about it.  I get him.  I do.  He's trying to move on, and he sucks at it.  Also a bonus?  Addison beat up on Derek first instead of Meredith as far as the breakup goes.  At least she treated all sides as the enemy instead of just Meredith, which would have irked me.

I thought Cristina trying to talk girl was hilarious.  I thought Izzie was being a little snotty, but for once, understandable.  Callie and Hahn was interesting.  I really hope they don't actually go there, not because I would have a problem with the storyline, just because I would have a problem with them recycling such a horrid cliche.  I thought Mark was hilarious throughout.  God indeed.  Loved the elevator moment -- particularly because it was just a laugh, and wasn't played up for drama. 

The only things I really really didn't like were Alex/Ava and Hahn.  Hahn needs to lighten up about Cristina.  Seriously.  Be a damned professional.  And Alex/Ava?  Is Ava a psycho?  I didn't quite get that bit at the end.  Was the point to say she's not pregnant and is lying to Alex about it? 

Anyway, I left this episode feeling very good, and the preview for the next show really excited me so...

I'm excited.  I am actually excited about Grey's again instead of apprehensive.  It's a nice feeling.  I think I'll go revel in it while it lasts.
